The reason for me getting this stove was b/c of the airfryer. Also my old stove got messed up. But overall I actually love it. It works great and the food cooks fast. I had to get use to it. I love the over-all look of the stove as well that's one of the main reasons for me choosing the Frigidaire stove. I would definitely recommend.

Caught fire first use

Hooked up the new gas range. Used the convection setting on the oven at 400F. Cooking went fine, but I turned off the oven and noticed it still looked like it was lit thru the door. A few moments later a error code flashed (missed the exact code). Opened up the oven to see that there was a fire at the element. I turned off the gas line to the stove in case there was an issue with a control valve. But that didn't stop the flames and then I noticed a drip of some sort from the top and maybe making it's way to the bottom element causing the flames. 10min of nail biting and one toxic plume later I'm setting up a repair service for an hours old appliance. Thanks Frigidaire. Fingers crossed we don't blow up.

So far it does what it needs to do, dont love the air fry option, it gets super smokey in the house. make sure to turn oven on before usuing it for 30 mintues then broil for 30 or else the oven will smell horrible when you cook.

This is my second Frigidaire stove of this type. I found the first in Springville NY in October of 2019 and it was love at first sight. The unit is easy to keep clean, well made, and after you read the manual easy to use. Because of my age I was forced to ™€œdownsize™€. One of the first things I did was to get stove number two installed in my current house. My advice -buy one you won't be disappointed.

I bought this range because it™€™s a Frigidaire, good name. It™€™s also the exact style we needed for our new kitchen. We bought it in Nov 2021 and actually didn™€™t install it until Sept/Oct of the next year due to a longer kitchen remodel. Well a few dozen or more meals later, the igniter on the top burners have gone out and of course with only a year warranty, Frigidaire could only offer to give me the number of a local appliance repair shop. Kinda sad that it™€™s a brand new appliance and I now have to spend God knows how much to get it working properly. Guess I should have bought the extended warranty at Home Depot when I bought it. These things are designed to break.

Not real happy with this range. Tried to use the air fryer and next thing I knew the door lock came on. Tried everything suggested to solve the problem. Door lock is still on and I can't use the oven! Called to get it repaird and it won't be until the middle of April before Fred's appliance can send a service person for repair. Hate the griddle on the stove top.

Failure within two weeks of arrival

This range was received on 2/18/2023. On 3/03/2023 while heating a pan of water the left front burner blew a breaker with a loud pop. Reset the breaker and tried again. Same thing happened. Because it took Lowes over 30 days to receive and deliver the product, this is a warranty issue. Frigidaire web site only allows you to get the name of the local repair organization. No customer service line found. The chat feature is not functioning. Local repair not open over the weekend so first call possible has now set repair visit for 3/13/2023. Otherwise, the range works fine.

Love my new range! It fit perfectly In between my cabinets. The range bakes and roasts beautifully! The grates are made very well. The only thing that I would like to share with potential buyers, is hat if you are replacing a free standing range with any slide-in, you will most likely have to move the gas line lower to the floor or recessed into the wall. I took a different route and purchased a 30™€ stainless steel gap filler made to fill the gap between the range and wall. This method also gives me a surface to use for my salt and pepper shakers. I have not used the air fryer yet but if it works as great as the oven I will be very pleased. I do a lot of baking and very pleased with the results this oven is giving me!

Compared to our 10 year old kitchenmaid supurba this thing is a dream. We didn't know how dysfunctional our old one was until starting this one up. All the burners burn appropriately, low through high. The oven heats up much faster than our last one. The air fry feature is cool if we have more stuff than we need to put in our actual air fryer. All in all so far so good.

I will preface this review with that I do love my stove! But, yes there is a but! The major selling points of this stove were the oval burner and the air fryer. Now for my review of both of those. The center oval burner tends to have uneven heating. When using the griddle it overcooks what you place in the middle and the ends are slightly under cooked. So you do a lot of flipping around to get even cooking. The air fryer I guess works ok. I'm still cooking my way through using it. I have yet to try the convention bake/roast. Overall though I am very pleased with it.

Great range, first time in a long time temp. is right. If you set it at 350 that is what you get. Last range was way off, had to add at least 15mins. to every recipe in order for it to get done.

Too many defective quirks, don™€™t recommend

It has always had strange quirks, but just recently, doesn™€™t turn off. From what I™€™ve read it™€™s a defect in wiring in the motherboard where a critical wires melts. Wouldn™€™t this be cause for concern and perhaps a recall? Nope. We need to pay a service person to come and fix it. The motherboard has been strange from the start. When stopping the timer but keeping the oven on to continue cooking, hitting ™€œtimer off™€ creates a ™€œclear off™€ response. So you have to restart. The ™€œclear off™€ button is a different button, but the timer off button cancels the oven baking, not just the timer. So here we are, one year in, when we are done using oven and hit every possible off button, it turns the controls off, but the oven keeps running and heating. Now we have to cut the power in our basement and wait between 15-30 minutes. If we turn the power back on too soon, the oven fires back up, even though all the controls are off and the only thing showing on display is the clock. Crazy unsafe!!

Easy to use , works great. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new range. The air fryer is a big plus, no need for the air fryer on the counter anymore.

I was smoked out of my own house!

I was so excited to try the airfry function on my new Frigidaire Gallery gas range with air fry. I previously had a countertop air fryer that I used frequently but when I decided to buy this range, I gave it away.Last night, I cooked 6 chicken thighs in my air fry oven. I followed all manufacturer suggestions. I patted the chicken dry and coated with a dry rub (no oil). I used the Frigidaire air fry tray on rack level 3. I placed a large cookie sheet with foil lined parchment paper two levels below. I set the temperature to air fry 375. The smoke that filled my home was so intense I had to go outside. That is after I had to silence the smoke alarm, which is down the hall and around the corner from my kitchen, several times. It kept going off and eventually, the smoke was so dense I had to go outside in order to breathe! I opened every window in my house and it was 40 degrees outside here in Upstate NY. Not only that, my brand new oven is now so dirty I'm not sure it will even get clean! The air fry tray is a disaster and so is the brand new sheet pan I bought to fit under it. I am so disappointed and wish I had not given away my counter top air fryer. After all the hype over this "new invention" I guess I thought Frigidaire would have done some test cooking in their kitchens to see just how much smoke is generated using the air fry setting.

Horrible purchase

From day one this range has spewed toxic smoke out of it! It™€™s a chemical burning smoke that has taken over my house. My wife with has asthma and it had done some damage to her. You call Frigidaire and you get a recording to call another time! What service is that?? It will smoke for hours after turning it off.
