I bought this a year ago at Costco. When the fan started making a squeaking sound I called for warranty service. It took about a week but the repairman guy was knowledgeable and efficient. All fixed. Very pleased.

I love the space I now have. But I have three complaints. One is that the top tray in the freezer section gets frost on the front of the tray. Two is that the front is not really fingerprint free. You still have to wipe off prints and you can still see them. Other than that I love the fridge.Three the fresh air on the back of the inside of the fridge really does not take the smells out.

We bought this fridge because of the french-door style without ice through the door. Removing the ice distribution from the door provides a ton of extra space on that side of the fridge. We also like that water is stored cold in the door which minimizes temperature variances in the water from the dispenser. We are currently waiting on a repair of the dispenser light. It stopped working after about 6 months of use.

I purchased this fridge on 5/1/2023 when a prior LG fridge died after 8 years and 3 service calls two for ice maker one to replace compressor and evaporator but that is another story. This one seemed to have good reviews and was a pretty basic fridge. The current problem with this one is that the fridge section has uneven temps and does not get cold enough. With the freezer set at -3 and the fridge at 33 the lowest setting the interior of the fridge varries from 37-45 and the freezer is at 4 degrees. The actual temps seem to run about 7 degrees warmer than the fridge settings. Ive used LG chat where the recommendation was to lower the temperature settings. I have also used the chatbox troubleshooting and then a LG chat again to schedule a service call. At the time I chatted 5/17/2023 there were no available LG techs in the Seattle area. I am waiting for a call back from an authorized servicer.

MAJOR COMPLAINT: Bot this particular model because measurements allowed placement in spot of original frig UNDER CUSTOM WALL CABINET. LG FAILED to indicate that these measurements were only for the actual box NOT WHEELS AND ADJUSTABLE FEET. When feet and wheels are at their lowest adjustment frig barely fits and isnt level causing the french doors not to close properely. To level is frig I must remove my wall cabinet. Would also like to have sliding shelves not stationary adjustable shelving in refrig portion.

We bought this refrigerator about 2-3 weeks ago replacing a side-by-side which was in the home when we bought it. We love this Lg refrigerator With the French doors and lighting we can see all that is inside and easily reach items. The pull out freezer compartment is wonderful as well

It is a nice frig except that we have a cooling problem. Inside temp of frig does not get any lower than 36 degrees it set to the lowest setting of 33 degrees. The 36 degrees is only if we seldom open the doors the door shelves are 39 to 40 degrees. We had a family dinner which involved open the doors more often. The temp quickly went over 40 degrees. We have a thermometor inside a digital probe which sends temp info to an app I also took the temps of items in various portions of the frig.
The local dealer where we purchased the frig has done nothing to help us. I contacted LG myself. I received some text messages that they were trying to find someone to service the frig then they asked for the receipt again to resolve some other way. That was 3 weeks ago they have not responded to my request for a status update.
I am sorry to write this review as we have several other LG appliances and love them. I would like to love this frig also.

Freezer Fan broke. FF E and I told the customer service person the code and what was wrong. Freezer was working but the fridge was not she told me it was the compressor even though I asked is she was sure it wasnt the freezer fan This was first thing on a Monday. They couldnt get anybody out until Thursday that week service tech comes out on that Thursday. Diagnoses the issue freezer fan.. has to order that part and then couldnt come back out until the following Friday to fix it. 2 whole weeks without a fridge is unacceptable especially when you have children nobody from LG has reached out to offer a credit or to make sure everything was fixed okay.

Bought this refrigerator a little over a year ago for a new home install. The home build took longer than anticipated so the refrigerator was not installed until August 2022. February 2023 it quit working. First we had to wait weeks to get a repair person out since it was still under warranty. Second parts had to be ordered which we are still waiting for. We have been without a refrigerator now for almost a month. Lucky we have an old garage fridge which still works great.

I love this refrigerator So roomy and so easy to find food stowed inside I especially love the two separate freezer drawers Again it makes accessing items so easy. The refrigerator is quiet and brightly lit inside even the freezer drawers The delivery was so professionally handled too. And the stainless steal exterior doesnt show fingerprints The whole design is perfect I did a lot of looking and chose LG because their shelves drawers and bins were so much sturdier than other brands. Also I have an LG washer and its over ten years old and is flawless.

We bought this a few weeks ago and we are enjoying the slim water dispenser and the larger freezer than what we had previously. The stainless steel is easy to clean and the refrigerator is very quiet compared to our previous one. The only complaint is the shelf above the crisper drawers does not stay level when heavy items are sitting in the back.

We like it a lot with the only negitive is water dispences only slightly chilled water at about 50 degrees. Otherwise lots of nice features large clear door shelves lots of space in freezer nice size cubes in ice makersmaller than most and more square. Not loud except when ice tray is empty. Would rate five stars except for water temp.

We had to replace our last refrigerator far sooner than expected as the back had completely corroded and the unit was constantly leaking. We purchased the LG and are thrilled. I was a little concerned about the placement of the ice bucket in the freezer and while it definitely infringes on the amount of room that area is more than compensated for with the space in the refrigerator. A bonus is that the ice doesnt clump into one big inextricable mess the ice cubes remain nicely separated. The engineering of the unit overall is really amazing and the capacity is far and away better than what weve had previously. Its easy to clean and very well lit. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.

My wife and I bought this fridge to handle large up to 80 people hosting events. Wow In comparison to previously owned fridges this one is huge It can hold 8 one-gallon jugs and has enough shelf space for four platters. Also all drawers are very easy to use. They slide frictionless and have grab handles on top. We look forward to using the LG fridge for the warrant period.

I bought this at the end of Oct 22. The refrigerator part has not worked since day one. The freezer works great. LG can not fix the problem they have thrown up there hands and said it is not field repairable but they WILL NOT replace the appliance. I hope you fare better than I.

We stock up on a lot of Costco size frozen foods. Freezer offers much needed storage. Our need for ice is usually several cups. The storage been for ice gives us quick and easy access. Door dispensers on previous refrigerators would dispense small quantities of ice and sometimes become clogged with frozen condensation. Having the refrigerator section at waist level gives more convenient access to the items we use the most. Because the water dispenser is not deeply recessed we can easily fill large containers. My biggest question has to do with durability. That question cannot be addressed until five or six years have gone by.

It is already stopped making ice and everything melted in the freezer in August 2022 I had to call LG and their technician changed the condenser. Again it is making humming noise. If it gets louder. I might return it

Going great so far. It is spacious well-lit and compartmentalized aptly to fit all needs. If you have a big family this size is a must. I havent had any issues with the water spout read spraying issue on some reviews. It is quiet and stands tall. The freezer compartment is big and adjustable compartment on the bottom helps a lot.

Weve had lots of fridges used to live in a national disaster area. This one is by far the best. When our last fridge died we had specific dimensions a new one had to fit in. This one fits great but the big surprise was all the sneaky room on the inside thats been built into this fridge. Right now I have 4 half gallons of milk on one door shelf. Large pizza boxes with leftovers fit on a shelf. Were a multi-generation family with lots of special eating habits and all our special foods fit in the fridge. Weve had it how for about six months--through the holiday season--all the turkey leftovers and meal prep fit. The only negative is the freezer compartment. Its a top drawer with ice maker then theres a big bottom drawer. The bottom drawer is just wide open space. Again there are several adult eaters using this fridge and the freezer needs better method of grouping foods together. We find things migrate to the bottom of the freezer drawer so were doing deep dives to find what were looking for. Design wise: The slim front water dispenser is attractive and a step above the one we had on the inside of the old fridge. Its hard to comment about pricing because when the old fridge died everyone was in the middle of inflation supply chain problems pandemic pricing.

I bought this refrigerator on 10/7/2021. Almost a year later I requested to have it repaired by LG. The new water filter will not fit. The rubber door gasket is falling apart. This is affecting the temperature of the refrigerator. Theres something wrong with the dispenser panel on the front door. It is now January 3 2023 and Im still waiting on a resolve to these issues. And Ive been using an expired water filter since October 2022. This cant be healthy. I feel LG is dragging their feet on this because they say the warranty is over.

We looked at a multitude of different refrigerators we like the sleek lines and the water dispenser on the door without the ice maker. The water dispenser is spot on for filling glasses or pitchers. Having the ice maker in the freezer gives the refrigerator amble space to store food.
